The plain truth

Jump to the legal detail
  1. 01

HireLine adds hire bookings to a Shopify shop: availability, rate cards, deposits, contracts, returns, calendars and trade invoices. You stay responsible for your shop, your prices, your hire terms with customers and what you tell them.

  2. 02

Plans are monthly, in US dollars, and billed through Shopify, with no transaction fees. Texts above a plan's allowance are charged per text. You can change or cancel your plan in Shopify.

  3. 03

The hire agreement is between you and your customer. HireLine records that the customer agreed to your contract, but it isn't a qualified electronic signature service.

  4. 04

Payments, deposits and refunds go through Shopify. HireLine works out prices and checks dates, but it doesn't hold anyone's money.

  5. 05

We'll run HireLine with reasonable care, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable, or that it will bring in a particular amount of business. Nothing here takes away rights the law says you always have.
