1. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage and session storage do a similar job, but a page reads and writes them directly instead of sending them with each request. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Privacy law generally treats all of them alike when they store or read information on your device, so this policy covers them together.

Shopify also uses its own sign-in and security technologies in Shopify admin, under Shopify's policies. Clearing your browser's storage resets these preferences and may mean opening the app again, but it doesn't delete anything saved in HireLine.
4. HireLine on merchants' shops
HireLine's date picker and availability calendar on product pages, its checkout check, and its page in customer accounts don't set cookies or use browser storage. They ask HireLine's server for availability and prices each time. Shopify sets its own cookies on every shop; the merchant's cookie banner and Shopify's policies cover those.
5. Your choices
On this website, use "Cookie settings" in the footer to show the cookie notice again. There's nothing optional to turn on at the moment.
Your browser's settings let you see and clear stored data. On a merchant's shop, use that shop's cookie or privacy controls for Shopify's cookies.
6. Changes and contact
We'll update these tables before we add any tracking to this website or change what a storage item is for. Questions can go to hireline-support@kingpoleapps.com. For storage on a particular Shopify shop, contact that shop as well, because it controls its own cookie banner.
